There are a few things you need to have in place before connecting your Pure internet radio:
1. A wireless internet router (minimum download speed 1.0 MB).
2. The name of your wireless network.
3. Your personal wireless network security key – otherwise known as a WEP or WPA key.
Connecting your radio...
Start this process by plugging the radio in and switching it on.
When the radio has finished booting up, choose the time zone, location and any language settings, if applicable to your radio.
Now choose ‘Pure Connect or The Lounge’ as your source (This is dependent on your model radio) and your radio will start its first time search for all available wireless networks. After a short time you should see the name (SSID) of your network. Highlight and select your wireless network.
You’ll now be prompted to enter your network key or password (WEP/WPA key).
After entering the key you may see brief messages like ‘Verifying network key’, ‘Configuring IP’ or 'Connecting'. These are normal connection messages. Once your radio is connected you will be prompted to register your radio. You radio is now connected.
Please note: The Pure Connect desktop site has been discontinued, new customers will be unable to register there radio to a Pure Connect account. For more information please click here
